Toby Twirl was a popular children's story character, similar in style to Rupert Bear. These delightful books, written by Sheila Hodgetts and illustrated by Edward Jeffrey, published 1946 – 1958, are now equally very sought after by the new collector as those who remember them as their childhood favourite. The 'Collector's Guide' tells the story of Toby Twirl featuring exclusive photographs and biography sections for Sheila Hodgetts and Edward Jeffrey. The book also includes an up to date value guide with full colour pictures of the 'Toby Twirl' books, collectable items, and 'rarities'.
